Tung trees are widely planted over the hills and fields because they are the economic opportunities to the local Hakka people. They appreciate and rely on Tung trees a lot and therefore like to have Tung blossoms on fabric designs.
The flowers on the red, black and blue combed cotton fabrics are Tung blossoms. They come with one light color and one dark color on each fabric so it looks very vivid.
The design of this fabric is to combine Tung blossom with traditional Hakka imagery.
With the high class combed cotton fabric, this cloth can be used for value-added daily necessaries such as window treatments, wall hangings, table top, curtains, pouches, purses, etc. The fabric is 58” wide and can be cut into our width upon customers’ request.
